I was introduced to the following BIG idea last night. I think its worth checking out as an example of transmedia storytelling (in its purest sense). The client is the search engine Bing in a tie up with Jay-Z.
It’s a fantastic and brilliant idea.
You’ll have to make your own mind up about the results.
The budget is not disclosed but surely in the hundreds of millions.
It reinforces the importance of paid media as an amplifier – in this case outdoor media. I was also reminded this week that the Old Spice campaign – widely and rightly celebrated as a social campaign – began with an ad at the super bowl.
